About the event
Mama Imara is organizing this walk for the second year. Last year, we raised over $7,000, which provided medical supplies and covered midwives and clinic staff salaries. With your support, we aim to make an even more significant impact this year!
Thanksgiving weekend is a beautiful time to Step up for Mothers who would otherwise not have the care they need to deliver their babies safely. ALL proceeds from this walk will benefit the bustling Amani Family Centre, located in the heart of the Kanyagogo slum community in Kampala, to provide free, safe, compassionate, evidence-based maternal and infant care to impoverished women. Your participation in this event will directly impact these families.
